Anna Netrebko supports the mission of the Opera Academy of California: - Develop and educate new audiences for greater appreciation of opera and musical theater - Develop and educate singers in the art of opera and musical theater performance - Bring new audiences and new quality performers together in the context of opera and musical theater performance Ms. Netrebko generously donated several photographs, personally chosen and autographed, for the Silent Auction for the Fundraiser of the Opera Academy of California, which will be held before each show and at the intermission at the Fort Mason Magic Theatre on the 19th, 20th and 21st of May 2006 from 7 to 10 p.m. Also on Auction are: promotional DVDs, signed by Ms. Netrebko; autographed program of the last "Mazeppa" performance on the 30th of March 2006, signed by all the principals of the Metropolitan Opera production as well as other items.
