Milissa Carey - Spoken Dialog Specialist

An award winning Bay Area actress, Milissa Carey has performed leading roles with many Bay Area Theatre companies including American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Theatreworks, Center Repertory Theater of Walnut Creek, Foothill Theatre Company, San Jose Repertory Theatre, Pacific Alliance Stage Company, 42nd Street Moon, San Francisco Playhouse, Playground, Theatrefirst, George Coates PerformanceWorks and The San Francisco Playwrights Festival. She recently completed the 25th Anniversary Broadway National Tour ofEvita under the direction of Hal Prince. Ms. Carey is currently on the faculty at Foothill College in both the music and theater departments, as well as A.C.T,'s Young Conservatory, Marin Theatre Company and the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts. Her training includes a B.M. in vocal performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a M.M. in vocal performance from the University of Southern California as well as a Certificate of Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre.

Valery Ryvkin - Conductor

Maestro Valery Ryvkin recently returned from Germany, where he made his triumphant European conducting debut leading Tchaikovsky's "Maid of Orleans" at Theater Erfurt in Thuringia, Maestro Ryvkin had been Music and Artistic Director at Opera Santa Barbara from 1999 till 2009, in which time he conducted over 35 operas there. He continues as Artistic Director at Greensboro Opera. A frequent guest at many of the country's leading opera houses, Maestro Ryvkin has conducted at the San Diego Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, San Francisco Opera's prestigious Merola Program, Austin Lyric Opera, Portland Opera, Kansas City Lyric Opera and many others. He also served as a member of the conducting staff at the Metropolitan Opera as well as the San Francisco Opera. A highlight of 2009-2010 season was the world premiere of Stephen Schwartz's first opera, "Seance on a Wet Afternoon" in Santa Barbara. In the spring of 2010, Maestro Ryvkin returned to Europe for performances and masterclasses as Music Director of Sisak International Festival in Croatia.
